I found my way to yoga while searching for relief for my chronic low back pain in 2010. After a few years of practicing on my own, I enrolled in a 200 hr teacher training to enhance my own practice and graduated from YTT in 2015. I was trained in the Dynamic Yoga Method, which uses simple mindful movements & meditative breath to help students support body awareness, emotional wellbeing and physical vitality. I also am trained in trauma sensitive teaching. I can offer my students safe and effective choices to empower them through out their practice. I am also currently training to be a certified Accessible Yoga Teacher, which means teaching based on the idea of inclusivity, diversity and accessibility, rather than a specific style of yoga. Believing every individual is unique, service and compassion are yoga in action and teaching yoga is a collaborative and creative process. My classes are gentle and a slow flow. I encourage my students to bring awareness back to their inner self and not to hold themselves in a posture that no longer serves them. I look forward to seeing you in class and on your mat!
