In 2011 my husband gifted me with a 2 week unlimited yoga certificate for my birthday because I had expressed interest in trying a new workout. Although I began yoga for the physical benefits, it wasn’t long before I began to notice other benefits that went beyond a typical workout.  My wonderful yoga teachers helped me learn to become more compassionate to myself, to be grateful for my body in a way that I way that I had never been before, and to appreciate and utilize my strengths.  As a yoga teacher, it is my hope to share the benefits of yoga with those in my class whether the goal is improved fitness, stress relief or personal growth.
