I’ve been interested in health and fitness since I was a child. As an adult, I began my lifting weights and running half marathons. Because I am fascinated by the human body and movement, I decided to pursue certification as a personal trainer. I took my first yoga class for the exercise element as well as stretching to aid with my aching muscles. I was hooked after that class. When my life was hectic, yoga allowed me to quiet my mind and connect inward which brought a sense of peace. My love of learning and wanting to dive deeper into yoga prompted me to pursue yoga teacher training. I wish to share this practice with my students, guiding them through asana and their mind-body-spirit journeys on the mat.
